Charles Fodor

Charles Fodor was born March 15, 1952 in Baltimore MD, passed from this life on Monday March 10, 2014 at 1:49 pm. Charles was the son of the late Michael and Julia (Drodzic) Fodor. Graduated from The New Oxford Pennsylvania schools, enlisted in the Navy where he served 15 years, boarded various ships during the Vietnam War. He survived by 3 brothers, Steve and his wife Vera, John his wife Brenda, and Gottfried his wife Barb and his two sister-in-laws Joyce and Doris. His nieces and nephews all of PA. He is also predeceased by 2 brothers, Franck and Adolph and his sister, Elfrieda and fiancée Kathryn, he also survived by his stepdaughter Candace and 3 Grandchildren, whom he loved and who loved him and he resided with. We will miss him dearly, and will treasure all his memories in our hearts. We celebrate today his new life and journey home with the Lord. In life we are blessed with people. Rather their family, friends, enemies or even just acquaintances. These people are placed before us to teach us of things we don't know about life and about ourselves, good and bad. Sometimes these people may come to pass, move away or just fade away. But every single person leaves a footprint within us and it's up to us to know how to move on and live on with what we have been taught. Life doesn't always promise us a tomorrow so it's up to us to live everyday as thou it may be our last. Say what you feel, do the things you are too afraid to do, tell those around you, thank you and that you love them, let go of all the anger and allow yourself to forgive, don't give up just cause life knocks you down, don't ever allow for your mind to make you feel alone just open your eyes and heart to see those around you, life is a long lesson on how strong you really are but never think you're weak if at times you can't do things alone and you find yourself having to ask for help.
